Accessibility statement
example42 is committed to making this website accessible to as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technologies.
Conformance target
This website is designed to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA and to support the accessibility requirements applicable to websites under Directive (EU) 2019/882 (the European Accessibility Act).
The site uses semantic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Core content and navigation remain available with JavaScript disabled, except for the optional interactive presentation view and the mobile navigation menu. Presentation pages include a linear text alternative.
Assessment approach
The site was self-evaluated in July 2026 using automated analysis of all generated pages, keyboard-oriented review of shared components, source inspection, and checks of structure, accessible names, focus presentation, colour contrast, reflow, and reduced-motion behaviour.
Accessibility is part of the site’s shared templates so that improvements apply consistently to current and newly published pages.
Known limitations
Some archived articles and presentations published before 28 June 2025 contain third-party media embeds or legacy document structure. The essential editorial content remains available as text where possible. Podcast videos published before that date are hosted by YouTube; the episode pages provide a named player and a direct link to the video, but availability and quality of captions are controlled by YouTube and the video publisher.
The cookie-consent interface and embedded media are supplied by third parties. We monitor these components, but cannot fully control changes to their accessibility.
Feedback
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, email [email protected] and include the page address and a short description of the problem. We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within five business days and provide an accessible alternative when a prompt fix is not possible.
This statement was prepared on 10 July 2026 and will be reviewed when the site’s templates or third-party services change.
